ハロウィーンの占い
「ハロウィーン」の夜は、先祖の霊や異世界の住人が居る世界の「門」が開くので、その時は現世で不思議な事が起こったり、人々や木々に力が宿る日だと信じられていました。
そのため、昔から結婚や幸運、そして健康などを占うと当たると思われていました。
これは今でも信じられている事で、海外では占い師に将来や結婚相手を占ってもらうの「ハロウィーン」の日にする人が居るそうです。
ここでは「ハロウィーン」の「占い」の中で、今も簡単に行えるモノを幾つか紹介しようと思います。
その1. ケーキを使った占い
パーティーで食べるケーキを焼く前に、「指輪」と「指抜き」と「コイン」を用意して、それぞれをケーキの粉に混ぜておきます。
そして焼きあがったケーキを何等分かに分け、自分の食べたケーキの中にコインが入っている人はお金持ちになり、指輪を見つけた人は幸せな結婚ができる。
反対に、指抜きが入っていた人は幸運に恵まれないので、そんな時には急いで、もうひとつケーキを焼きなおして占いをしなおしたそうです。
その2. 食器を使った占い
一つのテーブルの上に四枚の皿を置いて、それぞれに「水」・「指輪」・「土」・「塩」を入れます。
そして、目隠しをした人がテーブルに置かれた皿を触わります。
この時に「水」の皿を触ったら将来は外国に住むことになり、「指輪」は結婚、「土」は独身、そして「塩」は人生の成功を意味するとされています。
その3. りんごの皮むき占い
これはリンゴが一つあれば誰にでも出来る単純な占いです。
まず、リンゴを用意して皮を下から上にむいていきます。
そして、一番長く皮をむき続けられた人が、その中で一番長生きをするそうです。
また、真夜中の鏡の前でリンゴを食べながら髪ととかすと、鏡に未来の恋人の姿が映るという占いもあるそうです。

Halloween Fortune-tellings

Before you bake a cake to eat at a party, a ring, a thimble, and a coin are prepared, and each of them is mixed in flour of a cake.
After a baked cake is divided, whoever finds the cake with a coin in would be prosperous in the future and the person to find the cake with a ring in it would have a happy marriage.
On the contrary, the person to find the cake with a thimble in it would not be happy, then another cake is baked immediately to do fortunetelling again.
Fortunetelling with Dishes
Place four dishes on the top of a table, and put water, a ring, soil, and salt on each of them.
And the person with a blindfold touches the dish with water on it would live in a foreign country, the person touches the dish with a ring on it would get married, and the person touches the dish with salt on it would succeed in the life.
Apple Peeling Fortunetelling
This is simple fortunetelling that can be done for anyone if there is one apple.
First of all, peel the apple from bottom to top. The person who can keep with the longest peel would live the longest among the participants.
In addition, there is fortunetelling that if a person eat the apple at midnight, combing the hair in front of a mirror, the future lover would appear on the mirror.
