現代の魔女
現代では、イギリス等で「魔女」を一つの職業として生計を立てている女性達が居ます。
その中には何代も前から「魔女」として続く家系もあれば、誰かに弟子入りして「魔女」になる人も居ます。
そんな彼女達の仕事を簡単に説明すると、決められた時間の中で店にやってきた人の相談者になったり、問題を解決する「儀式」を行うのです。
要するに少し変わった「お悩み相談室」を生業にしているのです。
ですが、その方法が普通の「相談室」とは違うのです。
同じ内容で出向いたとしても、ある人は占いで使われるタロットカードを使ったり、ある人は家系で受け継がれている独特の方法を行なったりと対応は会う「魔女」によって違ってくるでしょう。
しかし、対応が違っても相手の抱えている問題や不安を和らげる方法は現代の心理療法に通じる所があるのです。
その様な事から海外で「魔女」が一つ職業として成り立っている国では、魔女の組合があって精神科や心療内科に行くべき人が来たときは専門医を紹介する仕組みになっている所もあるそうです。
医者が心の病気について専門的に治療する前から、自分達の方法で「患者」ともいえる人達に頼られていたと思うと、先人達の知恵や現代まで受け継がれてきた「魔女」という存在は物凄いのだと改めて実感させられますね。

A modern day witch
Today, some women are witches as professions to make their livings in the UK, etc.
Some families has continued to be witches for many generations, some are apprenticed to someone to become witches.
Briefly explaining their works, they become consultants for people who come to the store within a fixed time period or carry out the ritual to resolve the problem.

Therefore, in some countries where a witch is regarded as one of professions in overseas, there is a union of the witch to introduce a specialist when a client should go to psychiatry or psychosomatic medicine.
Before the doctor treats the disease of the mind professionally, witches has had patients who have relied on witches and treated them in their own way and we realize that wisdom that has been passed from our predecessors and witches who still exist now are amazing existences.
