世界のハロウィーン
夏が過ぎ、10月が近づくと日本の商店やテーマパークではカボチャやコウモリ、それから魔女やおばけの飾り付けをして、英語やカタカタで「ハロウィーン」と書いて様々なイベントを開催して、専用のコーナーを作ってお菓子やパーティグッズを販売します。
そうして「ハロウィーン」が終わると、次は「クリスマス」と「大晦日」の文字が飛び交い、それが終わると個人の好みで和風か洋風で新年を迎える準備をします。
今でも宗教が生活の一部となっている海外からは考えにくい様ですが、日本では海外から入ってきた行事と日本の行事が交互に行われるのは珍しくなくなっています。
しかし、だからといって全てが海外と同じ様に行うのではありません。
国によって考え方や気候が違うように、同じ行事でも日本に合わせた取り入れ方がされています。
その例として、ここでは海外と日本の「ハロウィーン」の違いについてご紹介していきます。
Halloween around the World
After summer has gone and October comes, the shops and amusement parks are decorated with pumpkins, bat, witches and ghosts, a variety of events are held with the word, Halloween, and sweets and party goods are sold in the special counter.
After Halloween, Christmas and New Year's Eve come and people prepare to greet the new year in the Japanese style or the Western style according to individual preference.
Although it is difficult for people abroad to understand even now as the religion is regarded as a part of the life, it is not rare in Japan to perform both events that came from abroad and Japanese events alternately.
However, all are not performed in the same way as with the case of abroad.
As ideas and climates are different depending on countries, even the same event is arranged to be adapted for Japanese.
Here, I will introduce the differences of Halloween between in foreign countries and in Japan.
