世界各国のハロウィーン
「ハロウィーン」の本場は、今はアメリカになっていますが、アメリカで行われる「ハロウィーン」はあくまでも大衆文化としての部分が強く反映された内容になっています。
そのため、アメリカの「ハロウィーン」が一般的になった国では当日になると街や地域で盛大なイベントが開催されます。
日本でも様々なイベントが行われますが、殆どが企業が行う売り上げ向上としての特色が強い場合が多いです。
これは単純に「ハロウィーン」が西洋で生まれた祭日というのが理由の一つかもしれません。
なので、盛大に「ハロウィーン」を行なっている国は、現在ではアメリカを筆頭にイギリス、カナダ、アイルランドにプエルトリコ、ニュージーランドやオーストラリアの一部など、ヨーロッパや移民でヨーロッパ系の人々が移り住んだ土地になっています。
しかし、これらの国でもキリスト教や信仰している宗派が「カトリック」や「プロテスタント」の場合は、十月三十一日ではなく、翌日の十一月一日にあたる「諸聖人の日」を重要視したり、元が「ケルト人」の祭だという理由で「ハロウィーン」自体を禁止したり、行わない地域もあるのです。
未だにキリスト教の影響が根強く残っている海外では、日本と違って「本来を意味」や「成り立ち」が分かっているから、祝われ方や行われ方が大きく異なっているのでしょう。

Halloween in Countries all over the World
The home of Halloween is considered as the United States now, but Halloween in the United States has been strongly reflected by the aspect of popular culture.
Therefore, large events are held in cities and regions on that day in countries where Halloween of the United States has become common.
Although a variety of events are held in Japan, they are mostly held for the sales improvement of companies.
One of the reasons might be simply that Halloween is the national holiday that originally derived from the West.
So, large Halloween events are held now in the United States firstly, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Puerto Rico, and some regions of New Zealand and Australia, Europe and places where European immigrated.
However, if the sects in these countries are Christian, Catholic, or Protestant, 1st November, All Saints Day is much more important rather than 31st October, and Halloween itself is prohibited and not performed in some regions as the origin is the festival of the Celt.
Unlike Japan, the way of celebrating or performing is greatly different as the original meaning and its origin are well known in some countries that still have the influence of Christianity deeply.
