ハロウィーンの歴史
日本でも「クリスマス」や「バレンタイン」と同じく一年を通したイベントの一つとして行われている「ハロウィーン」は、今でこそ「キリスト教」の行事から派生したと考えるのが一般的です。
しかし、そんな「ハロウィーン」の起源を掘り下げていくと、そこには様々な「ヨーロッパの歴史」が深く関わっていることが分かってきます。
それだけでなく、そもそも「ハロウィーン」とは日本の「お盆」の様に先祖の霊をまつる「祭り」だったのです。
それが何故、今の様な形になったのか？
ここでは、そんな「ハロウィーン」の歴史を中心に、ヨーロッパとの繋がりや「ハロウィーン」の始まりについて紹介していきます。

The history of Halloween
Generally speaking, Halloween is one of events, like Christmas and Valentine’s day and considered to be derived from Christian event.
However, after researching the origin of Halloween, it has been found out that various European histories are deeply involved in it.
Not only that, Halloween is originally the festival to worship the spirits of ancestors like Japanese Obon Festival.
Why did it turn into such a form?
Here, I will introduce its history, the connection with Europe and the beginning of Halloween.
