ハロウィーンとキリスト教
日本は数多くの神様が居る国なので、海外から入ってきた「ハロウィーン」などの祭日に関して深く考えるより、純粋に楽しもうとする傾向が強いです。
しかし、日曜日なると人々が当たり前のように教会に行ったり、キリスト教の「祭日」が「祝日」になっている様な国では、十月三十一日の「ハロウィーン」を「祭日」と認めていない場合もあるのです。
これは私達が知っている「ハロウィーン」がアメリカで独自の発展を遂げて広まった世俗的な「祭日」なのが関係しています。
なぜなら、この「祭日」の元となったのは、アイルランドやケルトなどキリスト教が広がる前から行われていた行事に、後から入ってきたキリスト教の「祭日」が混じって、それがアメリカに渡って新しい「祭日」として人々の間に普及したからです。
そのため、カトリック教徒が多いローマなどでは、現在でも教会によっては「ハロウィーン」の開催自体を規制している所もあります。
キリスト教では、一つの神様と神様の御子である「イエス・キリスト」の言葉を信じて年間行事や祭日が決められるので、異国風の特色が強い世俗的な「ハロウィーン」が受け入れないのは仕方ないのかもしれませんね。
ですが、今の日本では十月になると、カボチャの飾りやハロウィーン用のパーティグッズが店頭に並べられる光景が普通になっています。
日本は海外に比べ、キリスト教の考え方が年間行事に影響する事はあまり無いですし、楽しい事は積極的に受け入れるという様に、集まってパーティを行う事が多くのが一般的になっていますね。

Halloween and Christianity
There are a large number of deities in Japan and a strong tendency to enjoy festivals, such as Halloween, which came from abroad.
On the other hand, Halloween on 31st October is not recognized as a festival in some countries where people go to church every Sunday and Christian festivals are regarded as holidays.
This is because Halloween is a secular festival which has developed and spread by itself in the U.S.
Because this festival is originally derived from the event that had been done before the spread of Christianity in Ireland and Celt.
After combined with a Christian festival, it has spread as a new festival among people in the U.S.
Therefore, Halloween festivals have been regulated in some places, such as Rome as there are many Catholics.
Annual events and festivals are determined by the words of one Got and Jesus Christ, the son of God in Christianity, so it may be inevitable that the exotic and secular Halloween has not been accepted.
But it is common now that pumpkin decorations and party goods for Halloween are arranged in stores in October in Japan.
Compared to overseas, Christian ideas do not affect the annual events in Japan and it is common to actively accept fun things and have a party.
