日本でのハロウィーン
日本で「ハロウィーン」が年間のイベントとして行われるようになったのは最近の事です。
それまで日本では「ハロウィーン」は「海外のお祭り」という認識しかされておらず、それを実際に行う所はありませんでした。
しかし、海外の映画が当たり前の様に見れるようになってからは、大きなテーマパークでもイベントが盛んに行われる様になったり、地域で仮装パレードを行う所も出てきました。
ただ、本場のように家を飾ったり、子供達が仮装して近所を歩き回る習慣は定着していないのが現状でもあります。
それに本来の「ハロウィーン」はキリスト教やケルト文化によって生まれた宗教的な意味のある行事なのですが、日本で行われる「ハロウィーン」は完全に「娯楽」の一環になっています。
そのため多くの日本は「クリスマス」と同じ様に「ハロウィーン」を「季節のイベント」の一つと考えており、本来の意味を知らない人も少なくありません。
仮装に関しても、日本の民間伝承に出てくる妖怪やオバケは海外の「ハロウィーン」には似合わないので、大半がアニメや漫画のキャラクターを真似た格好が多い様です。
たしかに難しく考えるより、気軽に楽しめる方が受け入れやすいですね。

Halloween in Japan
The event of Halloween in Japan has been held as the annual event recently.
Halloween had been regarded as just the festival of foreign countries, so it had not been actually held in any places.
However, since it became comon that people watched movies from overseas, events have been actively held in a major amusement park and people have dressed up in various costumes and paraded in some regions.
However, the customs that people decorate the house or children dress up in various costumes and walk around the neighborhood have not been common at present.
Halloween is the religious event originally derived from Christian and Celtic culture, but Halloween in Japan has become completely one of entertainments.
Thus, many Japanese consider Halloween as one of seasonal events, such as Christmas and not a few people who do not know the original meaning.
Also with respect to costumes, monsters and ghosts that appear in Japanese folklore do not seem relevant to Halloween in overseas, so most costumes mimic the characters of the anime and manga.
